the Art Camp will focus on: Vocal, Dance and Visual Arts.
Vocal Theatre -The vocal theatre will focus on vocal techiques, vocal warm up exercises and one word stories. Vocal techniques is where the campers will learn how to project and use their natural voice .One word stories objective is to tell a coherent story, one word at a time..great for memorization. Vocal warm up exercise is an essential component for vocal training. To make if fun for the campers exercises like: Zip Zap Zop, Tongue twisters are used.
Dance Theatre - Fundamentals of Songs and Dance. The Dance Theatre will introduce campers to African culture through Song and Dance: Feature - Azonto: Dance and Music genre originating from Ghanna. Che Che Kooly , Traditional West African Call and Response Song. In the Dance Theatre campers will enjoy learning Afrocentric movement.
Visual Art Theatre (Painting & Drawing) - Visual expression through painting and drawing is an excellent way to help campers express themselves. In the Visual Arts Program, campers will learn the fundamentals .... such as: Introduction to Color and Color Mixing, Drawing Techniques, Worship painting, Abstract and Freestyle Drawing as well as Fundamentals of Figure Drawing.
