AD/HD Mentorship Program
ADHD stands for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
ADHD symptoms include inattention and/or impulsive/hypeactivity.
Any child can have moments of being inattentive, implusive, or hyperactive. Children with ADHD experience these symptoms in a way that is persistent and severe to a degree that interferes with functioning or development and is inconsistent with developmental level (or age).
ADHD is a treatable medical condition. It may be caused in part by an imbalance in chemical messengers that affects behavior.
